A set of two circa 1940s vintage chalkware baseball figures produced by L. L. Rittgers. The tallest figure measures roughly 7 1/2" tall for size reference. Set is not complete and is missing one additional batter.
Figures appear to be in nice to great condition with general display and storage wear such as surface abrasions, portions of paint wear, and areas of chipping (notably visible as a missing small section is missing from the back left shin of the batter). Additionally, the batter's left leg exhibits considerable damage and appears to have been previously reattached. Due to this, the left leg is rather fragile.
